Gobernanza de la expansión: infraestructuras transnacionales de energía en América Latina

Las transformaciones hacia infraestructuras “ecológicas” están íntimamente ligadas a conflictos sociales. Para enriquecer el debate sobre estas expansiones infraestructurales en disputa, relaciono análisis de economía política y ecología política con la literatura sobre “políticas de operación” y logística. Para ello se analiza la infraestructura de energía renovable del Proyecto Mesoamericano, el cual fomenta nuevos “territorios transnacionales” e implica un creciente papel de corporaciones globales en las luchas sociales locales. El argumento central es que la impugnación de tales proyectos ha sido complicada por la creciente priorización de la circulación (nodos de infraestructura, corredores de energía) de las políticas de seguridad, que incluso inducen el desplazamiento de personas.
