The organizations that have propelled sport for development and peace have proliferated in the 21st century. Despite the existence of 35 organizations found in Mexico, the topic has received little attention in this country. This article analyzes the methodologies that are operated in Mexico. The proposed methodology has led to an inclusive and sustainable sport for development and peace, based on global and local agendas and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, which is likely to be replicated in different Latin American geographies.
