Historia de una vida, historia de una sociedad de exclusión

Abstract

Located within the context of social exclusion in Brazil, a particular life story is studied in this work. Starting with a visit through the institutional and marginal spaces where Daniel has lived, the conscious and subconscious categories he used to survive the perverse practices of public hospices are stressed. The secónd part of the paper deals with the implications of a life story regarding the histoyici~an d reflection for the subject.
