Abstract

This paper is aimed at studying the links between socio-psychological functioning and profesional career starting from the implication stories that five renown French intellectuals developed within the Social Change Laboratory (Paris VII). The interpretation of these stories is made using a series of categories such as cultural and class background, panicipation in collective proceses or historical events, influence from ideologies and intellectuals of the time, and family marks and critical proceses on personal life trajectories.
