Entre la bruma de la memoria. Trauma, sujeto y narración

Abstract

The role of memory in elaborating traumatic social experiences is approached in this paper by analyzing socio-historical, familiar and individual records. The representations of horror present in some cultural rneans (museum, films), the transmission pedagogies of social catastrophes and the forms of processing family heritage bring into scene the complex balances between memory and oblivion, and establish the possibilities left for the individual to rewrite his narrative and life path
