Estado, empresarios y reformas económicas: en busca de una perspectiva analítica integradora

Abstract

This article carries out a critical review of the principal analytical perspectives from which the formulation of the policies of economic reform can be analyzed, paying special attention to the comparative role of public and private sector agents. From here, the author suggests that the "societal" and "State-centered" approaches should be articulated within an integrated theoretical scheme that permits the identification of the way in which the various explanatory factors involved operate in different structural, institutional and ideological contexts.
