Apuntes sobre algunas posibilidades de autodeterminación reproductiva en América Latina

Abstract

This paper points out lines of work, action, and research related to reproductive rights, illustrating important problems systematically approached by activists and researchers within an institutional context, known for its scare flexibility regarding processes of reproductive self-determination, such as the Catholic Church. Reconstructing the background in the areas of health and reproductive rights helps place the propositions concerning reproductive self-determination that emerged from the Catholic Church, and under scores some elements that could be considered as a contribution within Latin American situation.
