Focus and Scope

Perfiles Latinoamericanos was created in 1992 and from that moment it has been prominent due to its contribution to the academic debate of social sciences regarding relevant issues in Latin America.

It is a Journal that aims to publish original works in social sciences, the main subject of which is Latin America.

Unpublished articles that are the result of original research in the fields of political sciences and sociology and which aim to study the region or cases located in the region are accepted.

The publication comprises three main sections: articles, essay and book reviews.
